Clinton Raceway, the Standardbred harness track at 129 Beech Street, belongs to Clinton Raceway Inc., which also runs it; Gateway has no hand in it. It operates as a business separate from Gateway Casinos Clinton next door and has its own phone line, 519-482-5270. Construction of a new grandstand started in the fall of 2024, producing a modern grandstand that holds 400 people. Near the track are a playground and a skatepark.
Race wagering at this track dates to 1970, the year the Clinton Kinsmen & Kinette Club introduced pari-mutuel betting here. On race days, every bet is placed through Clinton Raceway and never through the casino. Once the final race is over, the slots next door stay open until 1 AM.
03Off the floor
Off-site segment: the simulcast
Betting on races from tracks across North America is possible through a simulcast that Clinton Raceway Inc. runs. Gateway Casinos Clinton does not house it. Instead, the simulcast sits at 278 Alma Grove, Clinton, in the Huron Fish & Game Club, a different address from Beech Street. The casino floor offers no race betting whatsoever.
From Monday to Thursday, the simulcast doors are open between 4 PM and 10 PM. Weekend hours run noon to midnight on Friday and Saturday, then 1 PM to 7 PM on Sunday. Across the year it is open 364 days, shut only on Christmas Day. Questions go to Clinton Raceway at 519-482-5270.

Getaway Express, the licensed food counter, serves light meals, savoury snacks and drinks daily from 11:30 AM to 7 PM. Coffee, tea and fountain pop come at no charge on the floor. None of the free drinks contain alcohol.
Joining My Club Rewards, the casino's membership card, carries no fee. A guest registers by showing valid ID at Guest Services, then collects points on the slot machines. The room is operated by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. OLG conducts and manages the gaming, while the AGCO regulates the operator.

Guests get in only at 19 or older and must show valid government-issued photo ID. A second piece of ID bearing the guest's name is also needed for anyone 21 or younger.
